Established in 2018, ShowOff Ink Artistry is located in the heart of New Haven, CT's downtown historical district. We are a tight-knit group, all originally from Connecticut and are considered a few of the best tattoo artists in the Tri-State area with a combined 30 years experience. With business owner Ashley "ShowOff" Velazquez, formally competing on Season 7 of Spike TV's notorious television show Ink Master, she is driven to give tattoo lovers and new comers an immaculate experience. From the jaw-dropping industrial chic comfortability of the space to the warm knowledgeable professionalism of the artists, our studio is untouchable.

Tattooing was something I never intended on doing. The story goes as follows: did my first tat, knocked it out the park, got pretty busy over night, moved shops, oh yeah, being on Spike Tv’s Ink Master happens, and now I am where I am today: owning my own shop!

My style is untouchable, my designs are unrepeatable, and I'm just a savage when it comes to my craft. My best hours tattooing is spent working with black and gray realism and color fusion. I vary from custom freehand lettering, to dot work, mandalas, sacred geometry and realism overall.

I have been tattooing for 8 years. I come from a graffiti background. I eventually started putting my art work on permanent canvas. My style is different line weights with soft shading. I also enjoy doing lettering whether it's my style or any style to your liking. Geometric, black and grey, color, dot work, lettering, traditional, neo traditional.

Hey, I’m Becky! I grew up in Orange, Ct and have been an artist ever since I can remember. I’m also a graphic designer, which influences my work in certain ways. I love noodles, music and dressing like I know how to skateboard even though I would break every bone in my body if I actually hopped on one. My tattoo specialties include linework, simplicity, whip shading, some realism, and a lot of my work is mostly black and grey.

I am the Permanent Makeup Artist at ShowOff Ink Artistry. I specialize in Ombré Brows/Powder Brows. I also offer Brow Tinting, Brow Lamination, Lash Lifts, and Lip Blush. With my experience and knowledge, I take my time to answer all my clients’ questions and treat all of them with the best service possible when they walk in the shop. I educate them on procedure, encourage and empower my clients to feel confident and beautiful, reflecting their inner beauty.

Hola!! My name is Maribel! I’m the receptionist at ShowOff! A little facts about myself, I’m Ecuadorian, but never have been to Ecuador, I’m learning sign language, and I’m OBSESSED with Bad Bunny. Currently I’m in college to a be nurse, I’m 50% in the shop and 50% at school. Fun fact I have ZERO tattoos and I work at a tattoo shop, crazy!
